Underwriters Laboratories Inc.

America's most high-profile safety standards development institution / product testing and certification authority. The organization tests and evaluates if the product conforms to UL standards and authorizes products that comply with the standards to display the UL mark. With Canada’s product safety certification system, the Canadian Standards Council tests and certifies products produced for Canada based on safety standards and allows only those that conform to standards to display the c-UL mark. We have also acquired both recognition and listing.

America's central government has directly established safety rules for electrical goods. Certification by Underwriters Laboratories (UL) plays an important role in guaranteeing safety of products. Many of America's electrical products are UL certified and the UL mark is widely accepted as the symbol of product safety. United States and Canada maintain a mutual certification system. UL is recognized by Standards Council of Canada as a certification authority, so the c-UL marked products are accepted in Canada.
