Korea Certification Mark

The KC mark is the national uniform certification mark of South Korea. The mark is displayed for products that are verified to comply with Korean laws and regulations concerning radio waves, telecommunications, electrical appliance safety control, quality control and industrial safety control.
The KC mark which is under administration of the Telecommunications Research Institute for broadcasting and telecommunications equipment in Korea and, concerning safety of industrial equipment, the KCs mark is under administration of the Korean Industrial Safety Organization. Any products to be exported to or manufactured/sold in Korea must register with and obtain certification of either of these and must be labeled with the mark.

Compliance information

The following electrical goods that are operate at least 30VAC but do not exceed 1000VAC are applicable.

The goods are categorized into three categories according to degree of potential hazard, i.e., “safety certification for electrical goods”, “voluntary safety confirmation for electrical goods,” and “supplier compatibility confirmation.”
