Indian Standards Institute

Founded in 1986, ISI is the predecessor of BIS(Bureau of Indian Standards). The primary functions of the following institutions are to establish, authorize and promote IS(Indian Standard).
The current standard certification is BIS, but the ISI mark is still used. Products for which import, manufacture and sale is restricted in India are obligated to be registered with BIS, conform to safety certification requests and display the ISI mark.

Compliance information

Our company is capable of manufacturing PVC insulated cables of 1000V or less, for which certification is mandatory.
